The EBSCO and ProQuest eBook platforms are totally different. The differences can be summarised thus:

- All titles available to Library users and don't need to be bought
- Accessed through the Library
- Requires a password
ProQuest eBook Central
- Both a platform to access ebooks and a catalogue of ebooks to purchase
- Small but growing number of titles (200+) available to Library users
- Accessed through its own platform
- Username and password required
