No! Using sources doesn't make your work less original, so long as:
- You use other sources to develop and support your ideas.
- You give proper credit to (by citing!) the sources that you use
Using other sources will make your work better. Sources will provide you with ideas and inspiration that will improve your work, also, using sources - and citing them properly - should give you a higher mark for your work, as it shows your teacher that you have put some effort into it and have done some research to develop and support your ideas
