Electronic resources are materials in digital format made available through the Internet and accessible through a device . Examples are journal articles and ebooks. These resources are usually available as Adobe Acrobat (pdf) or Word documents, and web pages (html). Electronic resources can also include articles from newspapers, dictionaries and other reference material as well as videos, images, sounds and many other items.

Some electronic resources are free to use and others require a subscription. Because of licencing arrangements, resources to which the Library subscribes are restricted to FET learners and staff and require a password.

The Library maintains a list of resources that includes free resources that might be useful to learners and staff as well as commercial resources to which the Library subscribes. The list can be filtered to separate out free and subscription resources.
